Photos that let you hold onto the memory, forever
Photography began for me as a way to hold onto what I'd lost. After my grandmother passed, I realized that the most precious photos aren't the perfect posed ones. They're the ones that make you feel like you're right back in that moment.
There's a difference between taking pictures and preserving feelings. I'm way more interested in the second one.
I'm not here to pose you into Pinterest-perfect moments or shout directions over your ceremony. I'm here to notice the things that matter. Like how you unconsciously reach for each other's hands when you're nervous. The way your dad's voice cracks just a little when he gives his speech. How your partner looks at you when they think you're not paying attention. Those split-second expressions that happen between the "official" moments.
My job is to be invisible while you live your day, then give you back all the pieces you were too busy experiencing to fully see. Because honestly? The moments that take your breath away usually aren't the ones you planned. They're the ones that just happen when you're being completely yourselves.
That's what you'll get with me. Not just photos, but the actual memory of how your heart felt that day.
